Frequently Asked Questions

  1. To qualify for a B.C. Hairdressing License, students must complete 1500 hours of theory and practical training.

  2. Students' apprenticeship training hours are paid and added to the training period.

  3. Students are covered under the Workers' Compensation Act.

  4. Students are exempted from the Employment Standards Act.

  5. An agreement will be signed by all parties involved.
