Our Program
Our Program enables you to obtain your Grade 12
graduation and become a qualified hairdresser.
The 1500 hours of Hairdressing training in our state
of the art salon and classroom includes:

Professional Development: World Host program

Infection Control/Micro biology
-
Chemistry of Hair
-
Classical styling techniques involving precision hair
cutting and coloring

Permanent Waving and Hair relaxing
-
Wigs and Hair additions
-
Facial Analysis
-
Design composition
-
Salon Business: Retailing, Salon Management
Enrolment Prerequisites
-
Enrolment is limited to ensure that students have the
opportunity to optimize their time and accelerate their learning through
individualized training.

Students must have good work ethics as the course is run as an actual
salon
-
Students who have a serious interest in working with
people and are interested in the fashion industry.

Must be in good physical condition as you stand for
great lengths of time

Personal interviews are held prior to admission from
March onward for the coming September enrolment

Should enjoy working with people and have a
service-oriented personality

Applications for the Hairdressing Career Preparation
Program should be made on the Vancouver School Board "Choice of Schools
Request Form" available at any school office.
You can also access the form online and print it out.
Personal interviews are held prior to admission.
